Fire District Receives Early Holiday Gift -- Land!

A regional training center to benefit all high desert firefighters. A maintenance facility. A communications center. A state-of-the-art emergency operations center.

This is a wish list of facilities the Fire District is looking forward to building on the newly acquired 12+ acre site -- a generous donation of land by the Apple Valley Wal-Mart Distribution Center. The property is located just east of the Center, and will provide the District with the means to provide facilities that will support the education and skills training for local firefighters for years to come.
