Firefighters Shore Up Damaged Home

Firefighters responded to a call on Shoshonee Road in early February. When they arrived on scene, they found a red pickup truck partially embedded in the wall of a home.

The driver of the truck had lost control of her vehicle, collided with a van in the driveway of the home, careened across the lawn, and ended up lodged in the wall of the house.

Thankfully, a resident in the home at the time of the collision was not injured. The driver of the truck received minor injuries and was transported for treatment.

Once the truck was pulled out of the home, firefighters had to shore up the inside of the home for safety and to prevent further damage.
