Board of Directors Welcome New Members

Virgil Barnes and Larry Cusack Are Sworn In

The Apple Valley Fire Protection District Board of Directors recently welcomed two new members: Dr. Virgil Barnes and Mr. Larry Cusack. Both were officially seated at the Board Meeting on September 21st.

Dr. Barnes is a long-time resident of Apple Valley and was formerly the Superintendent of Apple Valley Unified School District. Mr. Cusack is also a long-time resident of Apple Valley and a local business owner. Dr. Barnes and Mr. Cusack join existing Board Members Richard Cambridge, Pat Gabler (Vice President) and Rick Pearcy (President).

The Fire District Board of Directors meet regularly on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room at the Headquarters Station, 22400 Headquarters Drive, Apple Valley. The public is welcomed and encouraged to attend.
