STATUS OF INJURED AVFPD FIREFIGHTERS

Apple Valley, CA - November 2, 2006: Apple Valley Fire Protection District extends its appreciation to all who have supported our injured firefighters with prayers, flowers, cards, and donations. Both Captain Larry Davis and Firefighter Brian Malloy, and their families are sincerely grateful for your support

Both firefighters continue to receive treatment for their injuries. Captain Davis is at the Grossman Burn Center at Sherman Oaks Hospital. Firefighter Malloy is receiving treatment on an outpatient basis at Arrowhead Medical Center.

At this time, Apple Valely Fire Protection District will no longer accept donations on behalf of the Davis/Malloy families. Any future donations can be made directly to either "Larry Davis" or "Brian Malloy" in care of the Apple Valley Fire District, at which time they will be forwarded directly to the intended recipient.
