Shhhh ... Secret Santa was Here!

Santa's Helper assists children with their gift selection.

Santa's helpers scurried with children throughout the store while they carefully selected the perfect gift for their family. Little elves busily wrapped all the gifts so that each student could keep their gift-giving a secret until December 25 ... shhhhh. And then there was jolly Santa who had a hearty laugh and a warm smile for each child he greeted. This Santa Workshop was busy all morning!

Selected students within Apple Valley School District had an opportunity to purchase gifts for their family thanks to the generosity of Apple Valley Wal-Mart, Apple Valley Ranchos Water Company, and Apple Valley Fire District. 2006 marked the 5th year of the Secret Santa event, which was developed to teach young students the importance of giving and to experience the spirit of the holidays.
