Captain Larry Davis is home! As a result of injuries sustained during a house fire on October 9, 2006 and then spending over three months at Sherman Oaks Hospital and follow-up rehabilitation, Captain Larry Davis was finally able to come home to Apple Valley on January 12.

But, he didn't actually make it home right away. He was first escorted to each fire station where he was greeted by his fellow firefighters and co-workers each anxiously waiting to visit with their friend once again. The "welcome engine" sounded the horn to alert that the brotherhood of firefighters at the Apple Valley Fire District was together again.

Best wishes to Captain Davis while he continues treatment and rehabilitation on an outpatient basis. Welcome Home!
