Another group of Apple Valley residents are prepared to help the community during a disaster. On Saturday, March 24th, local residents completed the 24-hour C.E.R.T. course -- Community Emergency Response Team. They received training in disaster preparedness, first aid, triage, fire safety, team organization, light search and rescue and more. The training culminated with a simulation whereby the students were able to test their new skills.

For information regarding the next C.E.R.T. course, call Cindy Serrano, Emergency Services Manager, at (760) 247-7618. The course is free for Apple Valley residents!
