Freedom Festival Gets Wet!

The colorful water spray was a much enjoyed event

Many visitors enjoyed the opportunity to "get wet" at the annual July 4th Freedom Festival at Brewster Park. In the midst of sweltering heat, the water spray was a great way to cool off. The young people in the Fire District Explorer Program support the event with the water spray, water slides, and the Firefighter Challenge -- a chance for kids to practice the skills of a real firefighter. The Freedom Festival provides a fund-raising opportunity for the Explorer Program while they learn the value of community participation. Thank you to all who supported the event and the Apple Valley Fire District Explorer Program.
