Technical Rescue

Our Technical Rescue Team consists of specially trained Firefighters certified in Rescue Systems I & II, Swift Water I & II, and Confined Space and Trench Rescue. These specially trained technicians are a valuable resource to the Fire District during the extraordinary incidents of flash flood and river emergencies, high/low angle rescues (ropes and pulleys), and confined space or trench rescues where air monitoring and shoring are used to prevent hazardous toxic gases and further collapses of either dirt or buildings.
